Scroll down for a video on the launch of the Center for Strategic and International Studies' (CSIS) Global Sustainability Series, investigating the role of the private sector in engaging with the U.S. government, host governments and NGOs to help address some of the world’s most complex global sustainable development issues.

CSIS will host four public events as part of this one-year series made possible by Council Lead Partner Bechtel. At the inaugural session, discussion was centered on innovative ways of building government capacity in African governments, focusing on how private sector actors, governments and multilateral institutions can support effective planning and management of infrastructure development to promote sustained, inclusive development and economic transformation.
