Gresham Uses Biogas and Solar Energy to Fuel Wastewater Operations

Ten years ago, Gresham, Oregon's wastewater treatment plant was the city's largest consumer of energy. Now, as you'll read in the case study linked below from Council Associate Partner Veolia, the plant is making as much electricity as it consumes in a year. It's using biosolids from wastewater treatment and fats, oils and grease as well as solar energy to produce power.
