The DGME Streamlines its Online Service Delivery

City leaders seeking ways to simplify the way citizens interact with the government will be interested in the solution that the Direction Générale de Modernisation de l’État (DGME) of France chose. As the country's modernization agency, its role is to guide the French ministries and agencies in their e-government initiatives.

The problem DGME faced in the past was that many of its projects were built in silos with high associated costs. As this case study details, DGME chose Alphinat to develop an "online services factory" that allow them to deliver cross-agency online services that focus on the needs of citizens and municipalities.
