Smart Cities Week Readiness Worksop

Tear down the silos that are making your city inefficient. This workshop will give you the tools you need to create a Smart Cities Roadmap that includes a long-term vision grounded in short- term wins and practical strategies. It will include an overview of the internationally recognized Smart Cities Readiness Framework encompassing 17 universal principles of smart cities. This workshop is hosted by the Smart Cities Council. It is ideal for government officials interested in advancing smart cities efforts in their city, county, or state; SCC Partners; other smart cities solutions providers; non-profits; and academic institutions. The workshop will also emphasize innovative approaches to procuring and financing smart cities technologies. Case studies will illustrate applications across a wide range of city departments and technology enablers. There will be ample opportunity for discussion in small groups, allowing you to test your understanding with peers from around the world facing similar challenges.
